Golf Balls on Parade is kicking off the
Big Oak Scavenger Hunt—and you’re invited! This is the one-time
opportunity to see all of the amazing golf balls in one place! The
event is being held on Saturday April 27th from 11am –
2pm at the Big Oak Driving Range & Golf Shop in East
Rochester.

From cheeseburgers and ice cream cones to pro athletes and performance vehicles, all of these colorful golf balls, uniquely designed by local artists, will be on display on the Big Oak front lawn for this exciting preview event. Enjoy free samples from Abbott’s Frozen Custard and treat yourself to food for purchase from Le Petit Poutine and Tuscan Wood Fired Pizza.
Everyone is welcome to attend this fun event to help us tee off the scavenger hunt! Feel free to extend this invitation to your family, friends and colleagues. The event will be held rain or shine so stop by any time.
The eyes of the sporting world will be on Rochester, N.Y., when the 95th PGA Championship takes place at Oak Hill Country Club in August 2013. Beginning April 27, specially designed 5-foot-tall fiberglass golf balls on tees will be showcased throughout the Greater Rochester area, adding to the excitement of the PGA Championship and drawing tourists from across the region. To add to the fun, we will invite the community to participate in a city-wide scavenger hunt to find the golf balls and win fabulous prizes.
