2nd Annual Holiday Food Drive
November 13th - December 13th, 2009

5% off* tire purchase with any food donation of 5 or more items.

We're proud to announce our 2nd annual food drive, to be held November 13th through December 13th.

The annual event has Dunn Tire as an official drop point for non-perishable food items. Food items will be collected at each of our store locations and donated to a local food bank.

We've selected the following organizations to receive the donated food at the end of the drive: Buffalo - Food Bank of Western NY; Rochester – Foodlink; Syracuse – Food Bank of Central NY; Erie – Second Harvest Food Bank; Jamestown & Fredonia – Chautauqua County Rural Ministries Food Bank.

To increase donation levels, and thank donors, we're offering a percentage off tires for customers who bring food donations. A 5% discount will be given to people who bring at least 5 separate canned or boxed food items*.

Additionally in Buffalo, we're partnering with the Heritage Centers to support their Annual Appeal. Heritage Centers has been serving the developmentally disabled in Erie County for nearly 60 years and is the 3rd largest non profit in Erie county New York. They are currently serving over 3000 children and adults, creating opportunities for growth, independence, productivity, choice and satisfaction, by providing comprehensive quality services.

We believe, with your help, we can make a difference this holiday season by helping put food on tables throughout Upstate New York, and Northern Pennsylvania.

Our Food Drive comes on the heels of a successful, recently completed "Charge Towards the Cure" Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign and fundraising effort.

We're happy to help these great organizations within our marketplaces that make a daily practice of helping those in need. We feel lucky to do business in great areas with such generous people, and we're looking forward to another successful event
